BattlEye explicitly rejects Windows test-signing mode. That mode is intended for testing signed development drivers, and changing a game setting will not make it a supported environment.
Step-by-step solution
- If this is a work, school, or driver-development computer, consult its administrator before changing boot configuration. A test driver may be needed for hardware or development work.
- On your own normal gaming PC, save work and make sure you have access to your device-recovery information before changing boot settings.
- Open Command Prompt as administrator and run: bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING OFF
- If the command succeeds, restart Windows. The change is not complete until after the reboot.
- Launch the game again. If the command fails or the mode returns, record the exact output and investigate with Microsoft support or the administrator instead of changing additional boot-security settings.
How to check the fix
After restarting, BattlEye no longer reports test-signing mode. A different BattlEye error should be diagnosed separately.
Before you try other fixes
Do not disable Secure Boot or driver-signature enforcement to fix this message. If essential hardware uses a test driver, obtain a production-signed driver before switching modes.
